They are 4 stages.
Stage 1: Sediment filter removes suspended impurities
 from inlet water.
Stage 2: Metallic ion exchange filter
This patented high precision ion exchange can effectively
remove chlorine and heavy metals as lead, mercury,
arsenic,cadmium, zinc, manganese, selenium, iron, chromium,
aluminum, nickel and copper, as well as to suppress the
growth of bacteria and algae.
Stage 3: Activated block carbon cartridge removes organic
chemicals, agricultural chemicals, insecticides, bleaching
agent, phenols, trihalomethanes and other carcinogenic
substances as well as odor, foreign color and residual
chlorine.
Stage 4: The 0.02um hollow fiber filter can effectively
remove dirt, rust, bacteria (colibacillus vibrio cholerae,
dysentery bacillus, salmonella, etc.), parasites
and microbes up to 99%.
